Doggy Styling What We Do

My name is Chip, I recently had my first ever pamper session and I want to tell you all about it in case there are other doggies out there who would like a pamper but are a bit unsure about what it involves.

So I went to the salon where I was greeted by some nice people who talked to my mum and then said they were going to look after me for a couple of hours.

I then had to have a bath which I really enjoyed, even though I did have to get wet, because I got a nice relaxing massage all over with some bubbles.

Once I was all squeaky clean I had to stand on a table that moved up and down to get dry, it was a bit scary at first as it was quite high up, but I had a lead on and a strap around me that made me feel safe. The lady said it would stop me from jumping off the table as I was quite excited about my pamper session and found it quite hard to stay still!

The doggy hair drier was a bit strange as I’d never seen on before, but once I got used to the noise it was lovely to have nice warm air on my fur while being brushed.

Once I was all dry and fluffy it was time for my haircut! The lady used her special clippers and scissors to make me look extra handsome. The only bit I wasn’t sure about was having my face trimmed but they said I could have a biscuit if I kept still for just a minute, which seemed like a fair trade to me. I must say I can see much better without all that hair in my eyes!

Before I knew it my pampering was all done and it was time to go home. My mum was on time to collect me so I didn’t have to wait for her but there was some comfy looking crates I could have waited in if she had been running late.

I’m looking forward to my next trip to the salon so I’m off to find some mud!
